The First 10-Second Film Competition: Congratulations to the Winner and All Participants!
It brings me great joy to officially wrap up the first-ever 10-Second Film Competition — and to share a heartfelt congratulations with our winner and all those who dared to tell a full story in just ten seconds!
Learn more, submit your project, and be part of the growing 10-Second Filmmaker movement and next competition.
Winner: “Wander” by Ralston Vaz
Ralston’s film stood out for its eerie world-building, emotional resonance, gripping storytelling, and striking cinematography. In just ten seconds, “Wander” managed to transport us into a fully realized moment — unsettling, beautiful, and memorable. It’s a true testament to the power of vision and precision, even in the shortest format.
Every film competition is subjective—no one truly knows what works. Competing in art is a bit absurd, but that’s not the point. It’s about coming together and creating. If it pushed you to make and share it, that's how everyone wins :)
I want to give a big thank you to everyone who submitted their films and embraced the challenge. It was deeply inspiring to watch how each of you crafted clear, compelling stories — with a beginning, middle, and end — inside such a tight container.
A special thank-you goes out to our five talented participants - Your creativity, courage, and storytelling talent made this competition a joy to witness. I’m truly grateful for your work:
- Ralston Vaz
- Yulia Petrauskas (Episcene Studios)
- Mudasir Shora
- Oscar Lin
- Lee Halvorsen
