I’m excited to announce The 10 Second Filmmaker Competition — a creative challenge to tell bold, original stories in just ten seconds.

In a world of fleeting attention, this competition invites filmmakers of all levels to explore a format that rewards clarity, imagination, and precision. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, it’s your chance to experiment and create something truly impactful.

# Award
Participants will follow a set of simple rules and submit their films for a chance to win a series of curated awards, including:

- 12-month full access to Skillshare
- A private filmmaking Zoom session with (Your teacher) Olaf de Fleur
- Feedback on the projects you're working on
- An Interview with the winner on my website featuring the winning film
- A badge/Laurel "Winner" to be used in your CV / Applications
- Access to my films

# How To Submit Your Film:
- Create a Class Project here on Skillshare, and include a link to your film (upload it to YouTube and share the link)
- Write a short introduction to your film and the story behind it
- (important) Submit a written review for the class

# Deadline
- Submission deadline: 30th May, 2025

# Rules
- Your film must be an original idea and entirely your own work
- No harmful or offensive content
- Film must be exactly 10 seconds long, excluding titles or credits
- All footage, sound, and music must be either original, royalty-free, or properly licensed
- One submission per participant
